The closest ferry stop to Athol Hall is the Taronga Zoo ferry wharf. Guests can take the F2 ferry service from Circular Quay to the Taronga Zoo wharf, followed by a short walk to Athol Hall. This route provides scenic views of Sydney Harbour and is a pleasant way to arrive at the venue. However, while the walk is not very long (10-15 minutes), it may be a bit challenging for guests with mobility issues or those who prefer not to walk uphill or on uneven terrain. In such cases, taking a taxi or rideshare from the ferry wharf to Athol Hall could be a more comfortable option.

Guests can also take buses that run to the Taronga Zoo entrance. The following bus routes are available: Route 238: From Balmoral Beach to Taronga Zoo, stops near the zoo entrance. Route 247: From Wynyard to Taronga Zoo, provides direct access from the CBD. From the Taronga Zoo bus stop, guests can walk down to Athol Hall. This walk takes you through the scenic surroundings of the zoo grounds. The walk typically takes about 8-12 minutes. The path is generally accessible, but guests with mobility issues might find the slight uphill sections or the distance a bit challenging.

The nearest train station to Athol Hall is Milsons Point Station. From Milsons Point, guests can catch bus Route 247 to Taronga Zoo, where they can then walk down to Athol Hall. This route offers beautiful views of Sydney Harbour along the way. The final walk typically takes about 8-12 minutes. The path is generally accessible, but guests with mobility issues might find the slight uphill sections or the distance a bit challenging.
